I was first elected in November 1980 as a Jefferson County Constable and I am currently serving my sixth term as Constable of Alabama State Legislative district 47. I have about 38,000 constituents in my district.

Civil Process and the Court: The seventeen Jefferson County Constables serve the Small Claims and District Civil Courts; in recent years the Constables have served over 26,000 civil process each year.

Special Process: The constables of Jefferson County are available for duty as "special process" server. Interested plaintiffs may contact the constable individually.
